- MICROWRITER PROCESSING CASSETTES & LIDS - Raymond A Lamb’s
MicroFlow, Slotted and Processing Cassettes have been designed
to provide the best performance and reliability when used
in our MicroWriter cassette labelers (as sold in the U.S.
by Shandon and TBS). These high quality cassettes are available
in a variety of colors. MicroWriter Processing Cassettes
are available in white, blue, green, pink, yellow, gray,
orange and red and suplied in bags of 1000. White plastic
lids are available in white in bags of 1000.
- MICROWRITER MICROFLOW CASSETTES & LIDS - Raymond A Lamb’s
MicroFlow Processing Cassettes have been designed to provide
the best performance and reliability when used in our MicroWriter
cassette labelers. These high quality cassettes are available
in a variety of colors. The MicroWriter Microflow Cassette
is designed to allow better infiltration during processing
and to fit most popular base molds for simple embedding.
- STAINLESS STEEL CASSETTE LIDS - Permanently reusable perforated
stainless steel self-locking covers for processing cassettes.
- STAINLESS STEEL CASSETTE DIVIDER - A stainless steel cross
that fits into a standard processing or embedding cassette
to divide the cassette chamber into four sections. The Cassette
Divider is supplied individually.
- CELLSAFE TM DISPOSABLE PLASTIC BIOPSY
INSERT - The CellSafe is a disposable plastic biopsy insert
consisting of two hinged interlocking frames with an integral
nylon mesh. The mesh is extra fine and therefore ensures
a high level of specimen security.
- BIOPSY INSERT - Two part loose fitting stainless steel
capsule with welded mesh which fits inside processing cassettes
preventing the loss of small or friable material whilst
allowing interchange of fluids. The Biopsy Insert is supplied
individually.
- CURETTING CASSETTES - Modified Microwriter processing
cassette with mesh welded to a steel lid and mesh insert.
Prevents the loss of small specimens whilst allowing interchange
of fluids. The Curetting Cassette is supplied individually.
Internal size: 30x24x3.5mm deep. Mesh hole size: 0.5mm diameter.
- BIOPSY INSERT PADS - Foam pad inserts cut to the size
of a processing cassette chamber available in blue or gray.
Biopsy material is placed between two pads in the cassette
and can be processed in the normal way.
- CASSETTE INSERT PAPER - Whatman qualitative cellulose
paper cut to the size of a processing cassette chamber.
Biopsy material is placed between two sheets in the cassette
and can be processed in the normal way.
- METAL BASE MOLDS - Single reusable stainless steel molds
for processing cassettes.
- DISPOMOLDS FOR PROCESSING CASSETTES - Disposable plastic
molds used with processing cassettes. Each strip contains
5 molds.
- DISPOMOLDS FOR EMBEDDING RINGS - Disposable plastic molds
used with embedding rings. Each strip contains 5 molds.
- EMBEDDING RINGS - Sturdy plastic molding which forms the
permanent base of a paraffin wax block when used with Dispomolds.
- LAMBCHILL ICE PLATE & BASE - The LambChill is a conveniently
sized cold plate designed to sit alongside a microtome.
It replaces the need for freezing sprays or water ice blocks
often used with microtomes and requires no electrical power.
The LambChill comprises a molded, insulated black base and
a blue water-resistant aluminum ice plate with space for
up to 28 blocks. The ice plate is removed and stored in
a freezer compartment or cryostat when not in use. It is
then simply removed when frozen and placed in the base ready
for use. Each ice plate can be cooled to -20°C and will
chill blocks for periods up to four hours dependent on room
temperature. Because it is removable, additional ice plates
can be supplied to ensure extended use at busy times or
when ambient temperatures are high. The base collects condensate
so the bench and floor stay dry.
